About the Neurology Champion Kate Carroll: Kate is a senior clinician physiotherapist and researcher in the Neurology Department at The Royal Children’s Hospital, specialising in the care and understanding of children with neuromuscular disease. Kate was a founding member of the RCH multidisciplinary Neuromuscular Clinic and since completing her PhD in 208 has initiated and led a number of clinical research studies. Kate is particularly interested in embedding research in clinical care and using data to track and optimise clinical efficiency and performance.
Collaboration and Support: Kate will foster a collaborative environment, working closely with clinicians, researchers, and other stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities for improvement. She can provide support, guidance, and mentorship to colleagues undertaking quality improvement, EMR optimisation, and research projects, ensuring the successful implementation of data-driven initiatives.
